To post images online, first you'll have to make friends with a photo hosting site, like photobucket or tinypic.
Upload your photos there, then get the link to it and bring it over here.
You can make the image viewable by using the following code to surround it. I added asteriks so that you can see it:

Take out the asteriks, aaaand..
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Posting links is very similar. You just use the tag:
